Position: Community Engagement Coordinator (Part-Time)
Location: 160 – 6712 Fisher St SE – Calgary, Alberta
Schedule: 3 Days per Week with some flexibility
Education Required: Post Secondary degree or diploma in Communications and Media studies or a related field
Compensation: $24 to $27 per Hour, Plus Benefits

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage our social media strategy across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn to increase awareness of our mission, advocate for milk donation, champion breastfeeding, and foster engagement within our community of donors, recipients, and healthcare professionals.
- Create engaging and informative content tailored to our diverse audience, including the creation of educational resources for hospitals and the general public on the benefits and logistics of milk banking.
- Design impactful graphics and print materials using CANVA to enhance our educational outreach efforts.
- Develop captivating presentations that effectively convey the mission, impact, and personal stories of our milk bank to various audiences, including donors, healthcare professionals, and the wider public.
- Monitor emerging trends, facilitate online community engagement, and utilize analytics to optimize our reach and influence.
- Collaborate closely with our team and healthcare partners to ensure cohesive messaging and accurate information dissemination.
- Maintain and update content on our website through the WIX platform, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for all visitors.
