Boobs Save Lives virtual gala raises nearly $70,000 for community care fund

Participants across Canada joined together in support of Canada’s most fragile babies

On September 30, we hosted our first ever fundraising event, with participants joining virtually across Canada to raise money for our Community Care program, a fund that assists babies in the community whose families cannot afford the cost of donor human milk.

The virtual gala included many of the familiar elements of a gala: a silent auction, a Liquid Gold signature drink, and some amazing speakers, entertainers, and performers including Country & Western singer Gord Bamford, Host & Interviewer Dave Kelly, Comedian Kate Davis, and many more.

Hosted by local Calgary news anchors and hosts of CTV Morning Live, Courtney and Kevin Stanfield, participants enjoyed hearing personal stories of the babies and families we have helped, including Courtney and Kevin’s own twins, who relied on donor human milk during their first week.

We are so grateful for the support of our sponsors, entertainers, donors, silent auction participants, and everyone who purchased a ticket or made a donation for this event and allowed us to raise nearly $70,000 for our Community Care Fund! (our goal was $50,000).

Thank you to our generous sponsors for supporting our inaugural Boobs Save Lives Virtual Gala!
