You're invited to a virtual gala in support of Canada's most fragile babies
Exciting news! For the first time ever, we're hosting a fun evening of entertainment, speakers, and all things motherhood! We are in the process of finalizing the details, but right now we can tell you this: it's going down Wednesday, September 30 at 7:30 p.m. all online, so you can enjoy it from the comfort of your own home! The event will include a silent auction, fun drinks you can make at home, and some amazing performers. The cost to attend will be $18, which will go directly to feeding a baby in need.
The purpose of the Gala is to raise funds for our Community Care program, which is used to assist babies in the community whose families cannot afford the dispensing cost of donor human milk. While the cost of milk is covered for babies in hospital, once a baby is discharged there is a significant cost to access donor human milk. Our Community Care Program, which is generated solely from individual, family and corporate donors, ensures families can continue to access the lifesaving benefits of donor human milk for their baby once they leave the hospital. Due to the devastating effects Covid-19 has had on fundraising, our donations for this program are down significantly and we are hoping this event can help bridge the gap.
